About The Position

Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing is hiring an ambitious, team-oriented Plumbing Service Manager. The manager is responsible for training, developing, scheduling, and supervising technicians who provide commercial and/or residential plumbing service, repair, and installation. The role also oversees dispatch, provides technical support to field technicians, resolves customer concerns, and supports operational reporting and payroll review.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Six to eight years of journeyman-level plumbing experience.
Proven success leading a team to achieve branch or corporate objectives.
Working knowledge of general industry standards and plumbing.
Proficient computer and mathematical skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
Ability to think strategically and execute day-to-day objectives.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check.
Related experience, advanced training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

Supervise and delegate service employees, including assisting with hiring and discipline, scheduling, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling and training employees, completing time sheets, evaluating performance, and overseeing work assignments.
Coach, motivate, train, and develop technicians to improve productivity, work skills, and sales skills.
Provide technical support to field employees by radio, telephone, and/or at job sites.
Review and audit technician paperwork daily.
Ensure equipment is in proper operating condition and maintain the appearance of vans and equipment.
Oversee dispatch for plumbing service technicians and select appropriate technicians based on customer needs.
Provide technical support to plumbing technicians.
Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist the general manager with data collection and report preparation.
Conduct site surveys.
Review payroll records to ensure technicians are paid properly.
