About The Position
The Plumbing Sales Specialist for Pacific Kitchen and Home is responsible for sales, margin, and the customer experience from the time of sale through installation. Plumbing Sales Specialists are knowledgeable about the plumbing industry and serve as subject matter experts in kitchen and bath fixtures. The role involves helping customers identify needs, recommending appropriate solutions, providing product and industry expertise, and following up with customers, designers, and contractors. Specialists also use basic measurement techniques and attend vendor-provided product training to stay current on products and industry trends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of retail or other sales-related experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in Business Management or a related field.
- At least 1 year of plumbing, home improvement, or premium luxury product sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Use product and industry knowledge to provide knowledgeable service and expertise during customer interactions.
- Follow up with customers, designers, and contractors to answer questions, including communicating with vendors about technical details and information.
- Perform basic measurements and apply knowledge of complex kitchen and bath fixtures, products, design, and construction.
- Attend vendor-provided product training, both in and out of the store, to stay current on products and industry trends.
