About The Position

The Plumbing Sales Specialist for Pacific Kitchen and Home is responsible for sales, margin, and the customer experience from the time of sale through installation. The specialist is highly knowledgeable about the plumbing industry and serves as a subject matter expert in kitchen and bath fixtures.

The role involves building customer relationships to identify needs and recommend appropriate solutions; applying product and industry knowledge to provide knowledgeable service; following up with customers, designers, and contractors to answer questions, including communicating with vendors about technical details; completing basic measurements; and using knowledge of kitchen and bath fixtures, products, design, and construction. The specialist also attends vendor-provided product training, both in and out of the store, to stay current on products and industry trends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of retail or other sales-related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or above in Business Management or a related field.
• One year of plumbing, home improvement, or premium luxury product sales experience.
