As we continue to expand, we are seeking Plumbing Apprentices to join our dedicated team. Candidates must be a Cheyenne registered apprentice or willing to register upon hire. As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of residential and light commercial plumbing systems. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the plumbing trade while developing the skills needed to become a licensed plumber. The apprentice works under the direct supervision of experienced plumbers while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Previous construction, plumbing, mechanical, or trade experience is preferred but not required
- Valid apprentice license or willingness to obtain
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
- Attention to detail
- Neat and clean presentation
- Great work ethic
- Valid driver's license
- Must meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) eligibility requirements
Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Gather, organize, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- Load and unload company vehicles while ensuring tools and materials are properly secured.
- Dig trenches, cut pipe, drill holes, and perform other labor as directed.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping under supervision.
- Help diagnose plumbing issues and assist with repairs.
- Clean work areas before, during, and after each job.
- Communicate professionally with customers on job sites.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean working condition.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and applicable plumbing codes.
- Fulfill on-call duties according to the department schedule.
