About The Position
The Plumbing Apprentice supports plumbing installation projects by assisting licensed plumbers and helping maintain clean, safe, and productive job sites. The Walker install Apprentice position offers hands-on experience and mentorship for people seeking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Preference for candidates in their first or second year of a plumbing apprentice program.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with new and retrofit installations.
- Carry materials and tools to and from job sites.
- Cut, measure, and prepare piping as directed.
- Learn and follow local plumbing codes.
- Maintain a clean work area and properly store tools.
- Participate in safety and career development meetings and training.
