About The Position

1-800-Plumber +Air is seeking a motivated Helper / Apprentice who enjoys teamwork and learning. The position assists plumbers, HVAC technicians, and HVAC installers with installations, repairs, and service. Team members provide a high-quality customer experience and may have the opportunity to earn top pay in the area. Paid on-the-job training is provided throughout the year. The ideal candidate works well with a team and independently and maintains a friendly, positive attitude toward customers and coworkers.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of current plumbing regulations.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to use plumbing tools.
• Good physical condition.
• Customer service experience.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be a team player and able to work independently.
• Friendly and positive attitude toward customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of a licensed plumber or HVAC technician on the job.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks on plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Document and report problems and actions taken.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
• Cut and assemble pipes while accounting for the existing infrastructure.
