Platform Creator Activation Specialist
About The Position
CookUnity is seeking a Creator Activation Specialist to help its Chef Success team onboard new platform creators and support them during their early growth. The role contributes to a positive, efficient onboarding experience by guiding creators through launch preparation, supporting their business development on the platform, and helping ensure launches happen smoothly and on schedule. The specialist regularly interacts with creators through telephone, web chat, email, and video, and works with internal teams to coordinate requirements and workflows. The onboarding relationship spans approximately 9–12 weeks, after which creators transition to the Account Management team. This is a remote role requiring work during U.S. Eastern Time hours, with a start time no later than 10:00 AM EST.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in onboarding or account activation for a culinary physical product business, or relevant post-secondary education or training in a culinary or foodservice management school.
- Ability to work remotely during U.S. EST hours, starting no later than 10:00 AM EST.
- Experience managing multiple clients or accounts simultaneously.
- Proven customer relations skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, project management tools, and data visualization platforms.
- Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.
- Professional communication with creators, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Experience in roles with administrative, operational, or supervisory responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects and prioritize effectively.
- Self-driven, accountable, empathetic, adaptable, and collaborative, with a commitment to educating and supporting creators.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with food production, culinary brands, and chef-driven businesses.
- Prior experience in a phone- or chat-based customer support environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the launch of new creator brands and products by preparing customized onboarding materials, tracking timelines, and ensuring adherence to target launch dates.
- Provide guidance, resources, and front-line support through voice, email, chat, and video to help creators build thriving businesses on the platform.
- Review, process, and maintain accurate onboarding documentation to ensure compliance with CookUnity standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams on requirements, policies, and workflows, and monitor progress and follow up to support a seamless onboarding process.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to service improvements.
- Support audits, reporting, and special projects to help achieve performance goals.
- Build creator relationships from onboarding kickoff through launch and support a smooth transition to the Account Management team.
