About The Position

Yext is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and technically adept Platform Consultant for its Services team. The Platform Consultant serves as a Yext product expert and works directly with clients to configure the platform, manage data, and deliver solutions. This customer-facing role supports implementation work, project deliverables, and communication with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Platform Consultants lead large projects and client accounts, advise customers on applying Yext technology to improve brand visibility, and work with product and cross-functional teams to implement solutions for formal implementations and ongoing service requests or enhancements.

The role combines technical project management, client consulting, solution architecture, and tactical delivery. Consultants manage a book of business, prioritize requests, configure Yext products and data integrations, develop scalable solutions, and serve as technical subject matter experts. They also collaborate with account teams, engineers, designers, developers, delivery managers, product management, and other consultants, and contribute to internal resources and process improvements.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in any subject area, or similar college-level education.
• 3–6 years of experience in software implementation, consulting, or similar client-facing roles; SaaS experience is preferred.
• Strong data modeling and technical background, such as website development, data integrations, or CRM design and management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex problems effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them to work.

Responsibilities

• Lead large projects and client accounts in a client-facing technical project management role.
• Advise customers on applying Yext technology to achieve brand visibility results.
• Work with product and cross-functional teams to implement recommended solutions for formal implementations and ongoing service requests or enhancements.
• Manage implementations and ad hoc enhancement, maintenance, and configuration projects for assigned client accounts.
• Prioritize multiple inbound client configuration or data management requests and drive them to completion.
• Interpret requests from clients and stakeholders and communicate them to internal teams using appropriate tools and methods.
• Provide work status updates and communicate potential risks and opportunities to clients and account teams.
• Understand complex technical issues and develop scalable solutions for clients.
• Create business requirements documents that capture client business rules, requirements, and customizations, and ensure accurate platform configuration.
• Configure Yext environments, including Knowledge Graph, Pages, Listings, and Search, to meet customer requirements and business goals.
• Build data connectors, analyze and import customer data, and provide quality assurance for information and content loaded into the Yext platform.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Yext solutions for customers and internal teams, including providing brand visibility guidance (SEO, AIO, GEO), data modeling and integration best practices, and solution optimization guidance.
• Communicate directly with customers through meetings and email to identify project goals and requirements and move assignments to completion.
• Partner with account teams, including account managers, sellers, engineers, and designers, to meet client expectations.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, delivery managers, and other Platform Consultants to build customer solutions.
• Contribute to internal resources and process improvements, including identifying potential improvements to the platform and products.
• Test new features and workflows in product releases against client configurations, apply new features to assigned client accounts, and provide feedback to product management.
