About The Position

SMS group is seeking a Plater for its Warren, Michigan location. The Plater produces chrome-plated parts in a timely manner while meeting safety, quality, and company requirements. The role operates on the afternoon shift from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with some Sundays potentially required. Overtime may also be required.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate a large overhead crane and drive a forklift.
• Ability to operate inspection equipment and visually inspect for defects.
• Ability to meet quality and production requirements.
• Excellent attendance and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work the afternoon shift, weekends, and overtime.
• Safety-minded, dependable, and able to maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
