About The Position

Westfield Electroplating Company is hiring an experienced hardcoat plater for its first-shift team. The successful candidate will have knowledge of anodize electroplating techniques and industry processes and standards. They must be self-motivated, reliable, industrious, able to work independently, and have good verbal and written communication skills.

The role requires handling delicate parts without damaging them, checking thicknesses with micrometers, calculating surface areas of common shapes, and understanding blueprints and drawings. Candidates must be willing and able to read and learn. Pay and benefits depend on experience. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of hardcoat plating.
• Two to three years of experience preferred.
• Ability to use micrometers to verify thicknesses.
• Competence in math, including calculating surface area of common shapes.
• Ability to handle delicate parts without causing damage.
• Understanding of blueprints and drawings.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, industrious, and able to work independently.
• Desire and capacity to read and learn.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical.
