About The Position

Ian's Pizza is hiring a Front of House server for its fast-paced, high-volume restaurant in Madison, Wisconsin. Servers greet customers, serve slices, prepare salads, use the register, and provide friendly customer service. They also keep their work area clean and stocked, complete shift checklists with the team, and help where needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly. The role offers $16 per hour as a guaranteed minimum. Servers typically earn $16–$21 per hour, including base pay, post-10 p.m. bonuses, and tips. If those earnings total less than the guaranteed minimum over a two-week pay period, Ian's covers the difference. No experience is required, though customer service or food service experience is a plus. Training and opportunities for promotion are available. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Typical shifts include lunch (10 a.m.–4 p.m.), dinner (4 or 5 p.m.–10 p.m.), and late night (10 p.m.–4:15 a.m.). Working a late-night shift once per week is required; two late-night shifts per week are preferred for those seeking Sunday-through-Thursday late-night shifts. Applicants must be in Madison for Winter Break. Part-time and full-time hours are available.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; IDs are required at orientation.
Able to stand and walk and remain on their feet for long periods.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
Able to work around common allergens such as gluten, dairy, and eggs.
Comfortable using ovens, knives, and other kitchen equipment.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures and a loud, fast-paced restaurant environment.
Must work one late-night shift (10 p.m.–4:15 a.m.) per week.
Must be in Madison for Winter Break.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service or food service experience is a plus.
Two late-night shifts per week are preferred for applicants seeking Sunday-through-Thursday late-night shifts.
