About The Position

Ian's Pizza is hiring a server for its Front of House team at the Frances Street location in Madison, Wisconsin. Servers greet customers, serve pizza slices, prepare salads, operate the register, and provide friendly customer service. They also keep their work area clean and stocked, complete shift checklists with the team, and help where needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly. The restaurant is fast-paced and high-volume, and the role requires hustling during shifts.

No previous experience is required, although customer service or food service experience is a plus. Training and opportunities for promotion are available. Part-time and full-time hours are offered. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.; typical shifts include lunch, dinner, and late night. Late-night shifts from 10 p.m. to 4:15 a.m. are required once per week. Applicants must be in Madison for Winter Break.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide IDs at orientation.
• Able to stand, walk, and be on one's feet for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Able to work with common allergens, including gluten, dairy, and eggs.
• Comfortable using ovens, knives, and other kitchen equipment.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and in a loud, fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Must be available for a late-night shift from 10 p.m. to 4:15 a.m. once per week.
• Must be in Madison for Winter Break.
