About The Position
Streets of New York is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly Server to provide guests with a memorable dining experience at its casual pizza restaurant. Servers greet guests, help them navigate the menu, take and deliver orders, monitor guest satisfaction, process payments, and maintain a clean dining area. They collaborate with kitchen staff and follow restaurant policies and health and safety regulations. The role includes light lifting to stock products or support dining-room cleaning and maintenance, as well as participation in team training, meetings, and events. The position is located at 6730 E Thomas Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. It is offered as full-time or part-time work, with an hourly rate of $12.15 plus tips. Candidates must be at least 19 years old and authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization will be submitted through E-Verify.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
- Positive attitude and passion for the food and beverage industry.
- Must be at least 19 years old.

- Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly smile and positive attitude.

- Stay informed about current promotions, specials, and offers, and apply them according to restaurant policies.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to tables.
- Monitor guests' dining experiences and check in periodically to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Keep tables clean and organized, clear dishes promptly, and maintain dining-area cleanliness.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support seamless service and communication.
- Follow health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
- Perform light lifting to stock products or assist with dining-room cleaning and maintenance.
- Participate in team training, meetings, and events to enhance knowledge and skills.
