About The Position
Streets of New York is seeking enthusiastic, friendly Servers to provide guests with a memorable dining experience at its casual pizza restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona. Servers greet guests, assist with menu choices, take and deliver orders, monitor the dining experience, process payments, and help maintain a clean dining area. The role involves coordinating with kitchen staff, following health and safety requirements, and participating in team training, meetings, and events. The position is available full-time or part-time and pays $12.15 per hour plus tips.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
- Positive attitude and passion for the food and beverage industry.
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment verification will be conducted through E-Verify.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
- Know menu items and help guests choose orders according to their tastes, preferences, diets, or allergies.
- Know current promotions, specials, and offers and apply them according to restaurant policies.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to tables.
- Monitor guests’ dining experiences and check in periodically to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Keep tables clean and organized, clear dishes promptly, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support seamless service and communication.
- Follow health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
- Perform light lifting to stock products and assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining room.
- Participate in team training, meetings, and events to enhance knowledge and skills.
