About The Position
Streets of New York is seeking enthusiastic and friendly Servers for its North Phoenix pizza restaurant. Servers are the face of the restaurant and provide guests with a memorable dining experience in a busy, casual restaurant. Ideal candidates are hardworking, able to multitask and work well with a team, and committed to outstanding service. The position is available full-time or part-time and pays $12.15 per hour plus tips.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
- Positive attitude and passion for the food and beverage industry.
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be submitted through E-Verify.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
- Know menu items and help guests place orders based on their tastes, preferences, diets, or allergies.
- Know current promotions, specials, and offers and apply them according to restaurant policies.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to tables.
- Monitor the dining experience and periodically check in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Keep tables clean and organized, promptly clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication.
- Follow health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
- Perform light lifting to stock products or clean and maintain the dining room.
- Participate in team training, meetings, and events to enhance knowledge and skills.
