About The Position

Streets of New York is seeking enthusiastic, friendly Servers to provide guests with a memorable dining experience at its Scottsdale pizza and Italian restaurant. Servers greet guests, help them navigate menu items and current offers, take and deliver orders, monitor guest satisfaction, process payments, and maintain the dining area. The role involves collaboration with kitchen staff, compliance with health and safety rules, light lifting for stocking or cleaning, and participation in team training, meetings, and events. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
• Positive attitude and passion for the food and beverage industry.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be submitted through E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
• Know menu items and help guests place orders based on their tastes, preferences, diets, or allergies.
• Know current promotions, specials, and offers, and apply them in accordance with restaurant policies.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to tables.
• Check in with guests periodically to monitor their dining experience and satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Keep tables clean and organized, clear dishes promptly, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support seamless service and communication.
• Follow health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
• Perform light lifting to stock products or clean and maintain the dining room.
• Participate in team training, meetings, and events to enhance knowledge and skills.
