About The Position

California Pizza Kitchen’s Pizza Cook brings creativity to each meal and helps ensure every guest has a memorable dining experience. The role maintains food-quality and sanitation standards, prepares pizzas and station items, and supports kitchen checks and shift duties. Pizza Cooks are expected to work as part of a team, prioritize service details, and share a passion for CPK’s food and drinks. Related experience or training of three to six months is required.

Requirements

• Three to six months of related experience or training.
• Practice safe and sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
• Ensure timely preparation of all pizza station recipes.
• Operate the “Dough-Pro” machine.
• Support the line-check process and complete prep par sheets each shift.
• Prepare necessary items for the station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe, sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain proper equipment temperatures.
• Perform station opening, closing, and side-work duties each shift.
