About The Position
California Pizza Kitchen is hiring a Pizza Cook to prepare pizzas and contribute to memorable guest dining experiences in a dynamic team environment. Team members are expected to embody CPK’s R.O.C.K.S. culture: Respect, Opportunities, Communication, Kindness, and Service, as well as the CPK High 5 values of enthusiasm for CPK, being authentic, teamwork, attention to service details, and passion for the menu. Pizza Cooks maintain food quality and sanitation standards, prepare pizzas and station recipes on time, and use the “Dough-Pro” machine. They also support line checks, complete prep par sheets, prepare station items, handle tools and equipment safely and sanitarily, maintain equipment temperatures, and perform station opening, closing, and side work duties each shift. Related experience or training of three to six months is required.
Requirements
- Three to six months of related experience or training.
- Safe and sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards for food quality and sanitation.
- Ensure timely preparation of pizzas and station recipes.
- Operate the “Dough-Pro” machine.
- Support the line-check process and complete prep par sheets each shift.
- Prepare necessary items for the station as needed.
- Practice and teach safe, sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
- Maintain proper equipment temperatures.
- Perform station opening, closing, and side work duties each shift.
