About The Position
Rosati’s Pizza is hiring a Pizza Cook to join its kitchen staff and prepare pizzas using Rosati family recipes. The role involves preparing menu items and custom orders, baking traditional thin-crust, double-dough, and Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas, and helping with other line-cook tasks as needed. Restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training is provided. This is an opportunity to start or grow a restaurant career in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience preparing and baking pizza doughs.
- Enjoy working on a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment.
- Ability to stand for approximately 90% of the workday and access all areas of the location.
- Ability to withstand warm temperatures and use kitchen equipment proficiently.
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, climb, and move about the facility.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas from the menu and according to custom orders.
- Bake traditional thin-crust, double-dough, and Chicago-style deep-dish pizza doughs.
- Perform line-cook tasks as needed.
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
- Keep the cooking station clean and sterilize equipment.
- Follow directions and prepare menu items.
