About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Pizza Cook to make specialty pizzas to order at the Café Mirage & Pizza Pub outlet. The role also supports day-to-day kitchen operations, product quality, stock rotation, and sanitation, while ensuring food and beverage items meet the facility’s recipes and standards for portioning, cooking, timing, serving, and presentation. Requirements
- One to two years of prior pizza shop or restaurant experience.
- SERV Safe Food Handlers Certificate.
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
Responsibilities
- Roll out pizza dough, stretch it to fit the screen, and add toppings according to guest preferences.
- Assist with day-to-day kitchen operations, including stock rotation, product quality, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Make pizza dough and sauces.
- Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to the Kitchen Manager.
- Prepare and serve food and beverage products consistently according to facility recipes and standards for portioning, cooking, timing, serving, and presentation.
- Guide, support, and inspire associates while helping deliver guest experiences.
