About The Position

COTY is seeking a PIT Operator at its Sanford, North Carolina distribution center to support internal warehousing and distribution operations. The role supports inbound inventory receipts, customer and consumer order processing, external storage, and assembly requirements through accurate inventory transactions, timely material movement, and safe operation of material handling equipment. The operator ensures orders are properly picked, staged, and loaded to meet customer requirements.

The position includes receiving, transporting, picking, labeling, loading, and unloading cartons and shipments, as well as transferring inventory throughout the facility and performing BOSS audits. The operator is expected to meet labor standards and KPIs, identify process improvement opportunities, and follow Coty safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous PIT driving experience.
• Ability to achieve forklift certification.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed labor standards and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
• Follow Coty safety rules and procedures.
• Receive, transport, pick, or label cartons and shipments accurately and efficiently according to customer shipping requirements.
• Transfer inventory from storage locations throughout the facility according to procedures to ensure accurate inventory transfers.
• Load containers according to customer requirements detailed on dock placards.
• Unload containers efficiently to expedite the receiving process.
• Perform BOSS audits as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
