About The Position

The PIT Operator supports GXO’s warehouse and supply chain operations by operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, handling products and materials, and helping fulfill inventory and logistics needs. The role includes inbound receiving, trailer loading and unloading, accurate handheld scanning, maintaining a clean work environment, and supporting special projects as directed. Operators are expected to prioritize quality, safety, efficiency, and process excellence while collaborating with warehouse operations, procurement, and other support teams.

Requirements

Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of warehouse experience.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner accurately.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate commitment to process excellence and understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
Complete other assigned duties with consideration for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Support special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
Collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and other support teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
