About The Position

The PIT Operator supports GXO’s warehouse and supply chain operations by safely operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, handling materials, and helping meet inventory and logistics needs. The position includes using handheld scanners, loading and unloading trailers, performing inbound receiving, maintaining a clean work environment, and supporting quality, safety, and process excellence. The operator may also assist with special projects and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of warehouse experience.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner accurately.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence and an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
• Complete other assigned duties with consideration for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Support special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and other support teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
