About The Position

GXO is hiring a PIT Operator to operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers and move products, equipment, and materials as part of its supply chain operations. The role also uses handheld scanners, handles trailer loading and unloading, performs inbound receiving, and maintains a clean work environment while following the 7S program and supply chain quality policy. The posted schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM, with flexibility and overtime availability required when needed.

Requirements

• Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of warehouse experience.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner accurately.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Demonstrate commitment to process excellence.
• Demonstrate understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
