About The Position

GXO is seeking a PIT Operator to help provide supply chain solutions by operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers and moving products, equipment, and materials. The role includes using handheld scanners, loading and unloading trailers, performing inbound receiving, maintaining a clean work environment, and following process and quality standards. The scheduled shift is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Requirements

Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and more than 75 pounds occasionally.
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of warehouse experience.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trailers as needed.

Perform inbound receiving processes.
