PIT Operator - Rotational Shift

About The Position

The PIT Operator operates powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move products, equipment, and materials, and supports warehouse receiving and trailer loading and unloading. The position uses handheld scanners and follows operational, quality, and cleanliness standards. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The posted hourly pay rate is $20.50 for work performed in California, with eligibility for an hourly shift differential. The role requires safe-operation training and certification for powered industrial lift trucks and availability for a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed. Work takes place in warehouse environments that may be hot or cold and involves frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of more than 75 pounds, along with standing, walking, bending, and handling equipment.

Requirements

Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner accurately.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate commitment to process excellence.
Understand and follow the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
