About The Position

As a Forklift Operator at GXO, you will help provide supply chain solutions for customers by operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, handling product and materials, and completing warehouse receiving and shipping activities. This is a first-shift position scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. GXO offers competitive compensation and a benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k), life insurance and disability insurance. Requirements

• Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• Frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 75 pounds.
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights.
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull.
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods.
• Handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of warehouse experience.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner accurately.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence and an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
