PIT Operator - Weekend 1st Shift

About The Position

The PIT Operator (also described as a Forklift Operator) operates powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move product, equipment, and materials and supports warehouse receiving, loading, and inventory logistics. The role follows safety and quality standards, maintains a clean work environment, and collaborates with warehouse operations, procurement, and other support teams. The schedule is Friday through Monday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and more than 75 pounds occasionally.
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of warehouse experience.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner accurately.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate commitment to process excellence and understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
Complete other assigned duties with consideration for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Support special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
Collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and other support teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
