PIT Operator II - 1st Shift

About The Position

The PIT Operator II operates powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move products, equipment, and materials in a warehouse. The role uses handheld scanners, supports loading and unloading trailers and inbound receiving, and maintains a clean work environment while following quality, safety, and process standards. The operator may also support special projects and collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and other support teams to meet inventory and logistics needs. This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The role requires certification and training in safe powered industrial lift truck operation, and schedule flexibility including overtime when needed. Work may take place in hot or cold warehouse environments and includes frequent lifting and extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking.

Requirements

Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Nice To Haves

One year of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner accurately.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate commitment to process excellence and understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
Perform other assigned duties while considering quality, safety, and efficiency.
Support special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
Collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and other support teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
