PIT Operator - 1st Shift

About The Position

The PIT Operator operates powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move products, equipment, and materials in support of warehouse and supply chain operations. The role uses handheld scanners, supports trailer loading and unloading and inbound receiving, and maintains a clean work environment while following safety, quality, and process standards. The operator may also support special projects and collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and other teams to meet inventory and logistics needs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility and overtime availability needed when required. The role involves frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting over 75 pounds, as well as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and working in hot or cold warehouse environments.

Requirements

Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Nice To Haves

One year of warehouse experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner accurately.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate commitment to process excellence and understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
Complete other assigned duties with attention to quality, safety, and efficiency.
Support special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
Collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and other support teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
