About The Position

The MHT/PIT Operator performs safe and efficient material handling to support daily production demands while following powered industrial truck (PIT) safety expectations. The role involves moving product with multiple types of powered industrial trucks, accurately handling material transactions, updating production status, completing daily PIT inspections, and supplying skins to BDL/CDL/Saws. Duties may vary in the fast-paced work environment, and additional tasks may be assigned by the area Supervisor or Group Lead.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial trucks, prioritizing associate safety over production output.
• Observe and defer to pedestrians in the work vicinity.
• Move product using sit-down, stand-up, and walkie-style powered industrial trucks.
• Use a handheld scanner and E-21 or Great Plains to accurately place and retrieve materials in a timely manner.
• Use tablet PCs and MES to provide accurate production status to the management team.
• Complete daily PIT inspections.
• Maintain plus-level eligibility.
• Supply skins to BDL/CDL/Saws.
• Perform other duties as assigned or defined by the area Supervisor or Group Lead.
