About The Position

Loenbro is seeking experienced pipefitters to plan and install piping systems for assigned construction projects and sites. The role involves working with a variety of piping systems, welding and joining materials, and installing manual and electric safety valves. Pipefitters configure piping systems from blueprints and plans, prepare and join piping components, and work in manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environments while following applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro Environmental Health and Safety policies.

Requirements

Three years of experience as a pipefitter; a pipefitter apprenticeship is also mentioned as preferred.
High school degree or equivalent educational experience.
Vocational school or trade apprenticeship required.
Must meet all state license requirements.
Accurate and precise attention to detail.
Self-motivated, with a drive to learn and grow.
Ability to work as part of a team and solve problems.

Nice To Haves

Pipefitter apprenticeship.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations regarding piping systems.
OSHA 10.

Responsibilities

Configure pipe systems from blueprints and plan piping system layouts.
Ensure steam, water, chemicals, and other liquids are turned off before working on piping systems.
Cut, bend, and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals.
Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials from pipes as needed.
Securely install piping or tubing segments using welding or other equipment.
Thread, weld, and solder piping together.
