About The Position

MSS Solutions, LLC is hiring a Pipe Fitter to support HVAC, mechanical, and industrial projects. The role involves measuring and cutting pipe, performing pipe preparation and installation, repairing pipe-system issues, and testing systems for safety and functionality. The fitter works with management, superintendents, customers, and other workers while following safety policies and procedures. The job requires personal hand tools, the ability to read blueprints, and experience with mechanical pipe systems and common trade tools and methods.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience fitting pipe.
Must have the personal hand tools required for the position.
Present oneself professionally.
Communicate clearly with the Foreman and follow direction.
Show up on time, ready to work, and in uniform.
Successfully pass a background check and drug test.
Identify, install, and repair mechanical pipe systems.
Read blueprints.
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the trade as needed.
Knowledge of cutting and welding methods.
Abide by basic safe work practices.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with work related to HVAC, mechanical, and industrial projects.
Measure and cut pipe according to requirements.
Solder, braze, thread, and groove pipe; install hangers and carbon steel pipe up to 24 inches.
Repair malfunctions, breakages, and leaks.
Test pipe systems to ensure safety and functionality.
Communicate professionally with management, the superintendent, and customers.
Follow safety policies and procedures; observe, report, and correct unsafe work environments.
Collaborate with other workers to complete projects.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company.
