About The Position

The Pipe Fitter installs, assembles, fabricates, and welds piping systems used in hydraulic applications. The role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, high-quality work. The position involves working in manufacturing areas that may not be climate controlled, as well as office areas, and may involve above-normal noise and temperature fluctuations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in an industrial or commercial setting.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Welding certification.
Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures.
High school diploma, equivalent, or GED.
Ability to frequently walk on concrete floors and stand for extended periods.
Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds.
Close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
Experience with high-pressure or specialty piping systems.
Experience in MTE TIG welding.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts.
Fabricate piping from blueprints and coordinate TIG welding operations.
Install piping for hydraulic machines.
Ensure work meets quality procedures and engineering specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
