About The Position

The Pickup Truck Driver is responsible for the delivery of equipment to customers, providing familiarization training on equipment, and picking up equipment. This role requires safe loading and unloading of rental equipment, timely communication with customers regarding schedules, and adherence to company policies regarding equipment condition confirmation and damage reporting. The driver will also be responsible for daily vehicle inspections, compliance with DOT and local regulations, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the assigned delivery vehicle.

Clean driver's license.
Equipment operating experience.
Understand Admar contracts and customer needs.
3 to 5 years’ experience Driving Pickup Truck with Trailer.
Ability to use tie downs / Straps / Chains.

Equipment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Safely load/unload rental equipment for timely delivery to customer jobsites.
Communicate with customers regarding pick-up and delivery schedules as directed by dispatch and the Rental Manager.
Communicate Admar policies regarding customer representatives on site for equipment confirmation and damage identification.
Take pictures of equipment on site during delivery and pick-up.
Provide familiarization training to end-users/operators on equipment.
Perform daily inspections and documentation of delivery vehicle and trailer.
Adhere to all DOT rules and regulations and report any problems to the supervisor immediately.
Comply with all Federal and Local rules and regulations regarding driving and load securement.
Notice and report any damage on rental units during equipment pick-up to the supervisor.
Keep assigned delivery vehicle and trailer clean and free of visual defects, ensuring Admar logos are in good condition.
Participate in training opportunities to learn about equipment functions and features.
Be knowledgeable regarding local roads and associated restrictions, and provide insights to dispatch for expedited routing.
Be fully familiar with the benefits, features, and safety aspects of assigned delivery equipment.
Follow Admar policy regarding signatures at delivery and pick-up, noting damage billing and triage.
Fuel and check all fluids (DEF, oil, wiper fluid etc) in the truck daily.
Report all accidents and issues to dispatch ASAP, calling the police if needed.
Perform other duties as required.
