This position is responsible for preparing and mixing brines, seasonings, and curing solutions used in the production of high-quality meat products. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and committed to maintaining food safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Previous manufacturing, food production, or mixing experience preferred.
Ability to follow recipes, formulas, and written instructions with accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math skills required for weighing and measuring ingredients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions.
Comfortable working in refrigerated and production environments.
Ability to safely handle food-grade ingredients and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

Prepare brine and curing solutions according to established formulas and production schedules.
Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients, spices, seasonings, and curing agents.
Operate mixing tanks, pumps, scales, and other production equipment.
Monitor ingredient usage and maintain inventory of supplies.
Complete batch records and production documentation accurately.
Verify product specifications and ensure consistency throughout the production process.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Follow all food safety, USDA, HACCP, GMP, and company quality standards.
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or product quality concerns to supervisors.
Assist with additional production duties as assigned.
