Piano Teacher - The Piano Place (W2, Benefits Available, Rexburg Studio)
About The Position
One Music Schools is seeking a private piano lesson instructor for The Piano Place studio in Rexburg. The teacher instructs students in 30-minute lessons, assesses new students’ abilities, creates lesson plans, and helps students work toward their learning goals. The role also includes preparing students for recitals, facilitating their participation, and communicating with parents or guardians about student progress. The school’s administrative team handles business operations such as scheduling new students, marketing, billing, and planning recitals and events, allowing instructors to focus on teaching. The studio offers a creative environment with themed rooms, quality instruments and technology, and performance opportunities including open mic nights, parades, community events, workshops, and formal recitals. The position requires a minimum one-year commitment. Instructors who can teach additional instruments are welcome.
Requirements
- Must have interpersonal skills and be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels.
- Must demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview.
- Must commit to teaching with the school for a minimum of one year.
Nice To Haves
- A degree in Music Education or Music Performance is a plus, but is not required.
- Ability to teach multiple instruments, such as piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, or drums.
- Experience teaching; first-time teachers are also welcome.
