About The Position

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Physician to work in St. Louis, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The position offers flexible scheduling in a collaborative, modern clinical environment. Physicians independently provide a wide range of urgent care services and work with advanced practice providers in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Centers are equipped with imaging, labs, and Epic EMR, with support from radiologic technologists, experienced medical assistants, and advanced practitioners.

The compensation package includes a sign-on bonus of up to $75,000, monthly volume bonuses based on patient metrics, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of base salary tied to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes. Requirements

• Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license.
• Two years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Experience treating patients across all age groups.
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with acute conditions.
• Take medical histories and order diagnostic tests.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe medications.
• Perform minor procedures and administer vaccinations.
• Document patient progress and coordinate follow-up care.
• Supervise and collaborate with physician assistants and nurse practitioners, including remote supervision and credentialing support.
• Work 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
