About The Position

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to work in St. Louis, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible scheduling in a collaborative, modern clinical environment with state-of-the-art centers equipped with imaging, labs, and Epic EMR. Physicians work alongside radiologic technologists, experienced medical assistants, and advanced practitioners in a fast-growing urgent care network.

The Physician independently provides a broad range of clinical services, including evaluating and treating acute conditions, taking histories, ordering diagnostic tests, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, performing minor procedures, administering vaccinations, documenting patient progress, and coordinating follow-up care. The role also includes supervising and collaborating with physician assistants and nurse practitioners, including remote supervision and credentialing support. Shifts are 8 or 12 hours.

The compensation package includes a sign-on bonus of up to $75,000, monthly volume bonuses, and quarterly bonuses of up to 5% of base salary based on patient satisfaction and quality outcomes. Requirements

• Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license.
• Two years of post-residency clinical experience; urgent care or emergency medicine experience is preferred.
• Experience treating patients across all age groups.
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers.
