About The Position

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join its team in St. Louis, Missouri. The role offers flexible scheduling in a collaborative, modern clinical environment with state-of-the-art centers equipped with imaging, labs, and Epic EMR. Physicians work with radiologic technologists, experienced medical assistants, and advanced practitioners as part of a growing urgent care network.

The Physician independently provides clinical services to patients of all ages, including evaluating and treating acute conditions, taking medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, performing minor procedures, administering vaccinations, documenting progress, and coordinating follow-up care. The role also includes supervising and collaborating with physician assistants and nurse practitioners, with remote supervision and credentialing support. Shifts are 8 or 12 hours in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.

The position offers competitive compensation, a sign-on bonus, monthly volume bonuses, and quarterly bonuses tied to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes. Requirements

• Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license.
• Two years of post-residency clinical experience; urgent care or emergency medicine experience is preferred.
• Experience treating patients across all age groups.
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers.
