Physician - Sign on Bonus $75,000
About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join its team in St. Louis, Missouri. The role offers flexible scheduling in a collaborative, modern clinical environment and includes a competitive compensation package, a sign-on bonus of up to $75,000, monthly volume bonuses based on patient metrics, and quarterly bonuses of up to 5% of base salary tied to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes. The Physician independently provides a broad range of urgent care services, including examining and treating patients with acute conditions, taking medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, making diagnoses, prescribing medications, performing minor procedures, administering vaccinations, documenting progress, and coordinating follow-up care. The Physician also supervises and collaborates with physician assistants and nurse practitioners, with remote supervision and credentialing support. Shifts are 8 or 12 hours in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Requirements
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
- Active state medical license.
- Two years of post-residency clinical experience.
- Experience treating patients across all age groups.
- Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers.
