About The Position

At CareATC, we are revolutionizing employer-sponsored healthcare with a mission to provide exceptional, patient-centered solutions. We are seeking an experienced Physician to join our new BeWell+ Virtual Primary Care program as a founding physician. This role is integral in delivering accessible, high-quality primary care nationwide. You will work with a dedicated virtual care team, focusing on prevention, chronic disease management, and whole-person care, while building meaningful patient relationships. This is a unique opportunity to help shape an innovative virtual care model from the ground up, offering the flexibility of remote work and the support of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited U.S. medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or another appropriate specialty.
• Current Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
• Current unrestricted DEA registration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Medical licensure in all 50 states.
• Passion for relationship-based, patient-centered care.
• Commitment to prevention, chronic disease management, and improving patient outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within a virtual healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive virtual primary care for patients ages 2 and older.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions across a broad spectrum of primary care.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and ongoing patient care.
• Complete clinical documentation, physicals, pre-operative clearances, and other required medical forms.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and interdisciplinary care team members.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.
• Serve as a collaborative physician for Advanced Practice Providers, as appropriate.

• $2250 CME & Licensing Stipend (prorated year 1)
