As one of the founding physicians supporting our new BeWell+ Virtual Primary Care program, you'll play an integral role in delivering accessible, high-quality primary care to patients across the country. Working alongside a dedicated virtual care team, you'll focus on prevention, chronic disease management, and whole-person care while building meaningful relationships with your patients. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited U.S. medical school
  • Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or another appropriate specialty
  • Current Board Certification or Board Eligibility
  • Current unrestricted DEA registration
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Medical licensure in all 50 states
  • Passion for relationship-based, patient-centered care
  • Commitment to prevention, chronic disease management, and improving patient outcomes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within a virtual healthcare environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive virtual primary care for patients ages 2 and older
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions across a broad spectrum of primary care
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic studies
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications
  • Coordinate specialty referrals and ongoing patient care
  • Complete clinical documentation, physicals, pre-operative clearances, and other required medical forms
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and interdisciplinary care team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
  • Serve as a collaborative physician for Advanced Practice Providers, as appropriate
