About The Position
TeamHealth is hiring a day-shift physician for its hospital medicine program at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. The physician will join an established program at a busy, dynamic hospital and work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule. Del Sol Medical Center is a Level II trauma facility. The hospital has 379 beds according to the practice highlights. Daytime coverage includes five MDs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; overnight coverage includes one MD and one APC from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The ICU is closed and staffed by a dedicated intensivist team. No procedures are required, and comprehensive specialty support is available. The EMR is Meditech.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine.
- Family medicine physicians with significant inpatient experience are encouraged to apply.
- Comfort practicing in a fast-paced, dynamic hospital environment.
- Strong commitment to quality patient care and teamwork.
