About The Position

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join its team in Chesterfield. The role offers flexible scheduling in a collaborative, modern clinical environment, with 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Physicians independently provide a wide range of clinical services and supervise and collaborate with physician assistants and nurse practitioners, with remote supervision and credentialing support. Centers are equipped with imaging, labs, and Epic EMR and staffed by radiologic technologists, experienced medical assistants, and advanced practitioners.

The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus of up to $75,000, monthly volume bonuses, and quarterly bonuses of up to 5% of base salary tied to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes. Requirements

• Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license.
• Two years of post-residency clinical experience; urgent care or emergency medicine experience is ideal.
• Experience treating patients across all age groups.
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with acute conditions.
• Take medical histories and order diagnostic tests.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe medications.
• Perform minor procedures and administer vaccinations.
• Document patient progress and coordinate follow-up care.
• Supervise and collaborate with physician assistants and nurse practitioners, including remote supervision and credentialing support.
• Work 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
