About The Position

Provides leadership and medical direction for St. Tammany Physician’s Network and input into the development of its standards of care. Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients at St. Tammany Physicians Network in accordance with generally accepted medical-care standards for the physician’s licensed specialty. Participates in the development and support of the network and maintains clinic schedules as specified in the contractual agreement. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine.
• Current BLS certification through an ILCOR-provided course, including a manikin check-off.
• Current ALS certification through an ILCOR-provided course, including a manikin check-off; ALS is required by specialty only.
• Must possess good physical health and be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods, lift at least 20 pounds, and work with a moderate level of noise.
