About The Position

ConvenientMD is hiring a founding physician for its Advanced Primary Care (APC) clinics, with a leadership role in shaping the care model, team, workflows, and processes for a new office. The APC model provides accessible, high-quality, team-based care through modern clinics and technology, integrating in-person and virtual services with urgent care. Physicians work with lower patient panel sizes, longer visits, and reduced administrative burden to provide personalized care and build meaningful patient relationships. The physician will lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, coordinated care, champion value-based care, and help develop workflows suited to the community. The role also includes promoting the APC clinics, maintaining high standards of documentation and compliance, and fostering professionalism and respect. ConvenientMD describes the position as offering flexible schedules, clinical autonomy, 24/7 nurse triage support, and performance-based compensation. Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Must have and maintain an unrestricted DEA license.
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; CPR, ACLS, and online-only classes are not accepted.
Experience in outpatient primary care or a similar setting.
Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or ambulatory care settings is preferred.
Compassionate, authentic, patient-focused approach, with understanding for others and a commitment to belonging.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to raise concerns and communicate directly with colleagues and patients.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and organizational stakeholders.
Collaborative team orientation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, and experience with or ability to learn Athena and other business systems.

Responsibilities
