About The Position

The Physician Practice Coordinator II works collaboratively with Northside Hospital leadership to administer and coordinate practice operations, supporting clinical quality, financial viability, patient and visitor safety, service excellence, and customer satisfaction. The role is responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of an assigned physician practice and its employees. It coordinates practice services, including patient access, scheduling, pre-authorization, chart management, nursing, procedures, and other functions, and ensures compliance with departmental operational throughput goals. Practice Coordinator I, II, and III share this job description; the assigned level is based on the score produced from data about the scope of the physician practice.

Requirements

• High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), or post-secondary education.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in business, nursing, or a healthcare-related field; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year of such leadership experience.
• LPN or RN licensure is required for candidates serving in those licensed roles.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Physician practice or other ambulatory care setting management experience.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience implementing and maintaining an electronic medical record.
