About The Position

Women’s Healthcare Associates (WHA) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to join their Oregon City office. This position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope OB/GYN in a supportive, clinician-owned environment. The Oregon City office is known for its surgical strength, collaborative culture, and commitment to accessible care. The role involves working with a close-knit team, a collaborative model where midwives manage low- and moderate-risk OB care, and providing care to a diverse patient population with complex medical needs. The position emphasizes building surgical skills through dedicated surgical block time, OR mentorship, and the upcoming da Vinci V robotic platform. Physicians have an active role in organizational decisions. WHA is Oregon's largest independent women's health group, with 12 clinic locations and six hospitals in the Portland metro region.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited program.
Completion of ACGME OB/GYN residency (or expected prior to start).
Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
Eligibility for Oregon licensure.
DEA and hospital privileging eligibility.
Malpractice insurability.

Responsibilities

Practice full-scope OB/GYN.
Provide gynecologic surgery at the community hospital.
Care for a patient population that is socioeconomically diverse and often medically complex, including rural patients, incarcerated individuals, and home birth transfers.
Collaborate with certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) in managing patient care.
Participate in surgical procedures, including minimally invasive options and robotic surgery.
Contribute to organizational decisions regarding advanced surgical technology and in-office procedures.
Engage in mentorship and peer learning opportunities.
