About The Position

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Adult Headache Neurologist to join the largest multispecialty neurology group in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established and growing Headache program with strong regional referral volume, dedicated support staff, and the ability to shape the future of comprehensive headache care. The practice setting is modern, outpatient-focused with flexibility, combining in-person care with telemedicine. It is a collaborative neuroscience environment within a highly integrated neurology and neuroscience program. Physicians work as a team to provide patient-focused care that encourages a sense of teamwork. SPMF provides physicians with an administrative infrastructure, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.

Requirements

• BC/BE Neurologist
• Fellowship and/or board certification in Headache Neurology

Responsibilities

• Perform Botox, occipital nerve blocks, SPG blocks, and more.
• Combine in-person care with telemedicine for longitudinal patient management.
• Participate in regular neuroscience grand rounds and multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Expand into community-based headache clinics across the Bay Area.
• Incorporate general neurology.
• Participate in inpatient consults and call (optional/variable based on interest).
• Engage in clinical research through the CPMC Neuroscience Research Institute.
• Teach medical students and residents.
